“I really thought No More Picky Eating was just going to be a bunch of “tricks” to make veggies more like favorite foods; instead what you’re teaching has been so very inspiring and most importantly ACTIONABLE.“
–– Christina S.

…and hearing, “Thanks, Mom!” instead of, “Ew!”

I’ve heard from literally 1000s of parents over the years about their challenges at the dinner table, and I’ve distilled it down to the essential habits your household needs to begin to solve the picky eating frustrations.
I’ll take you on a journey — we start by figuring out what KIND of picky eater you have and then build the most important habits your household needs to redefine how your kids interact with food.

After employing ONE strategy, Vanessa said:
The [first rule] had brilliant results on its own – oldest child actually now saying she was hungry and sticking around to eat more!
Rachelle was rewarded for her consistency:
The difference is definitely huge!
My sensory-sensitive and aggressively anxious 9yo whose foods don’t even touch the same area of her plate has gone from barely eating supper – and especially protein – to saying things like, “I’m going to try something new…”

Parents! My job as your teacher in this challenge is to give YOU tools - some that it's best if the kids don't know about - to successfully help guide the kids to a better relationship with food. We serve kids with most of our other goodies here at Kids Cook Real Food, but finally, I get to teach ADULTS. 🙂
Although we do have a private Facebook group, you can get ALL the benefits of the challenge without being part of the social media monster. 😉 You can still get your questions answered even if you're not on Facebook!
When you register, you get the opportunity right away to watch the pre-challenge training, and then you can move on to the 5 challenge videos at your own pace. Videos average about 30 minutes. You'll have access to everything, all at once, for 7 days from the moment you sign up. You're welcome to watch all the videos right away, but we do recommend that you watch one a day so that you can implement the action step, see what's working, adjust, and add to the systems.
In other words, the challenge will take less time than you've spent making or packing special food for your picky eater this month. 😉 The rewards will be BEYOND worth it!
It's always trickier to implement new routines for teenagers, but it's never too late! Each day of the challenge, I'll take a "teen minute" to discuss how to adapt the day's action step for tweens and teens.
Yes! In fact, toddlers are the easiest age group to accept new habits AND the most important. As little ones are developing their sense of self and learning about their world, they're more likely to BECOME picky eaters, but they're also more likely to shift out of it with the proper parenting environment.
I believe all kids can benefit from the 5 action steps you'll take this week. If you have a child you think is a more extreme picky eater, you'll learn that they may be called "problem feeders" in our pre-challenge training about "What Kind of Picky Eater Do You Have?" It's true that they may benefit from feeding therapy, but these foundations that we build are important for ALL kids.
There's no charge for this challenge, because we want to show as many people as possible the HOPE they can have in their child's relationship with food.
